All the more ridiculous that both major parties rule out raising the retirement age for the state pension, the present PM even making it a resigning issue. So short termed it's untrue.

Not sure the size of the population matters so much as per capita income.

We all kind of knew this was the deal with baby boomers, the nation has not accumulated a surplus to deal with their healthcare so they will just have to go private or endure poor service.

Depends which end of the Baby Boomers you are on. We're on the bum side. Paid out shed loads all ways round and now being told to work until you're dead.
