Ready for the start of the system on the 27th, has anyone registered an online application for the Silver Fern Visa?

Don't fully understand your question, do you mean; has anyone lodged an EOI and then the follow up ITA, on line?

The new Silver Fern Visa becomes operational on the 27th. Since there are only 300 places, and demand will probably be very high, the Immigration Service, as I understand it, are encouraging those interested to make an online application now. While this does not guarantee that the visa will be granted, because it is done on a first come first served basis, I think the advice is tell the authorities you are interested now, before the category actually opens.

If that's the case, then no, I have no understanding of the system as I am already in NZ. I would, however, go for it now and lodge an interest. You could then lodge an interest again, on the 27th.

Best speak to the embassy for 'better' advice!
