Wasn't it that girl that won double gold at the penultimate olympics?

I know someone who has done some contract work for them who speaks highly of their designs and I know they have won some awards.

The problem you'll probably find with building your own home in Wellington is getting the right size plot in the right location that hasn't already been snapped up by some other contractor...

I've altered the title for you. You may get a bit more feedback that way.

I would ask them to give you contacts of previous customers so you can find out any real pluses and minuses.

We did that when we built our home and we got some good tips e.g. the benefit of their hindsight. And some of the hidden costs that we hadn't thought about that we then haggled out with our builder.

I install aluminium joinery in new builds, and from the "under the gib" build standard perspective, would say that seem as good as anyone else. The thing you need to remember is that Penny Homes, GJ's, Future or whichever firm you choose, will subcontract the work out to local builders. They then have a rep going out to check it regularly. He's the one you need to speak to as often as possible.
