Guess I'd better say hello
 

Been posting a short while now & since it looks like I'm staying thought it was only polite of me to say a proper hello to you all.

I'm English, came out to Auckland with the hubby and two kids little over 3 years ago. Initially loved the place, then liked it and now find it frustrating and it's time to move on. Not back to England for us though but to Australia which we love, despite all it's faults (living in NZ has opened our eyes) for a better climate and better opportunities for us all.

Have made a lot of good friends here, some of which are old timers on the forums but many who are not and will be very sad to say goodbye to them all. Will also miss the lush NZ landscape, the culture and history and the late evening sunlight.

We're trying hard for Brisbane at the moment. Love it there :) Feels more and more like home every time we go.

We spent a lovely time in Brisbane a couple of New Years ago - I'm not sure I'd want to live there but we had a great time. We went to Moreton Island too which was very cool. If it feels like home it's the place for you.
