Great news for TV & Film fans in NZ
Quickflix launched today in NZ and because I'm an Orcon customer I get a month free, it's only $9.99/$16.99 a month anyway. They've already got some BBC stuff on there and as the months roll on they'll be adding much much more.
Best things are streaming it doesn't add to my data usage and I can access it all through my TV as its a Sony Bravia. I spotted a special offer code earlier for anyone to use for a free 21 day trial, google it and you'll find it. If anyone signs up and has a Sony Bravia I'll help you set it up, it was pretty tricky but well worth it. Finally a serious competitor to Sky. http://m.nzherald.co.nz/technology/n...ectid=10795073 |

We're still hooked to:
Celebrity Juice Take Me Out Benidorm Top Gear I've just watched the this weeks new The Tube and might watch yesterday The Apprentice. Thank the lord for Torrents. Running 7 mile a day is taking a good chunk of time up, but I still need my telly fix and apart from Walking Dead I don't watch anything on NZ TV especially anything made in NZ. |

Series 4 but I've not seen anything about them showing series 5. Plus we've only got Freeview with no PVR so even if they show something I might not be in and I ain't paying Murdoch one penny. I've tried streaming Quickflix and it's pretty good quality, gunna watch 'Any which way but loose' in a bit. |
