Great idea!
This is a vid on the Crater Rim mountain bike race here in ChCh a couple of weeks ago. Gives an idea of the recreation available in the Port Hills above ChCh, just 10 min from my house =)
There was a proper Maori welcome at the start too! Just awesome.
