It's seldom I visit this thread, but I need to change that! Rob, those are some great piccies! My brother is the most keen ornothologist I know. I'm pretty sure if I show him some piccies of native birds he'll be champing at the bit to visit! ;) :D

Take him down into Welly at night to see some of the native birds ,he will chomp the bit there I can assure you :thumbsup: |

Penguins crossing sign (had to put that one in) Pukerua Bay at sunset, Ruamati Beach where we often have a stroll after work, Wellington waterfront and Whiteria Park which is in Porirua. I like your photos, we have been to NZ once in 2005, our son lives in Wellington with his partner and took us to all the places on your photos, hope to visit next year and stay longer, my other half wants to come to the Kapiti coast and set up home, I love it but it`s just taking the step! Still enjoying the pictures around Wellington and on the coast. Thanks for posting them, hope to see the places in person next year. It won`t be long before you have Spring conditions for going on the lovely unspoilt beaches!
