going, going, gone.....
Well the time is here, in a couple of hours we will be leaving for Heathrow. Expected arrival into Auckland Friday 08.30 We've had a really crap couple of days saying goodbye to family. Felt much worse than I imagined and my poor daughter was devastated saying goodbye to her half sister. That made me feel really bad cos she's not really had a say in this emigration lark Everything ended up even worse tonight when we had to call an ambulance for my OH's 91 yr old ma We all sat up the hospital until 00.30, she is being kept in for a couple of days so my brother-in-law from Cornwall has been summoned for mum sitting while we stick to the plan and jet off. Didn't think anything else could go wrong but having just weighed the luggage we are slightly over the allowance and still have some stuff left we have no room for!!!! Bloody hell. Think I'll just cram it in and hope for a nice friendly person at Heathrow. Is there people in T5 or just computers???? Still, we will get there and I do hope the sun is shining over there. Speak later...........Bevissa

Poor you,
That's the last thing you need when you're moving abroad, wishing her a speedy recovery
Now you've got the goodbyes done, it gets better from there onwards so try and relax and concentrate on the future.
Can't help you with the T5 question but the sun is shining here in Palmy [still bloody cold] Bring some WARM weather with you please-though sounds like there's no room for it in your baggage
Have a safe flight and lots of luck for your new life!
All the best
Sue

Hi Bevissa,
Firstly Kia Ora and sorry about the weather!
As you are probably aware we left our son Jack behind. It was the most horrendous thing we have ever been through but with each day it does get a bit easier for both him and us also hope your MIL gets better soon.
You have made the right decision to make the move.
