Gloomy Monday question - wills!
Sorry it's a gloomy one for a cold and rainy Monday morning!
Hubby and I have to make our wills, especially to protect our little ones who we adopted this year, and to some extent our dogs too - someone would have to arrange flying everyone back home to family!
Random as that sounds I woke in a panic at 3am worrying who would sort everything out when we are a zillion miles away?!
My question is, does a U.K. Written Will stand in NZ or do we have to do a new one when we get there?
Executor - can we still have a UK one and would you advise having one in NZ too? (One of my oldest pals live in Auckland)
Thoughts anyone? X

Re: Gloomy Monday question - wills!
my understanding as a number of people have been looking at the wills thing is that you make a will over here that states a guardian in New Zealand who would look after them until family/friends come over from UK. To get a NZ will you have to have someone living in NZ for the immediate care. This is what people have found out and told me.
