Cant help but feel things are always against us

Got visa- really quickly last year but couldn't sell house

Are just about to exchange- hopefully but are still awaiting news of EOI changing to 'successful'
What would be the chances of Immigration saying 'NO' to us this time around?? We would have no house, no dream and would be very pissed off. Feeling a bit low, not a very patient person, have e=mailed NZIS twice already same answer you will know in1-3 months ''but I wont to know NOW''
