Default Getting an Old Degree recognised?

Hello, out there!

I was just wondering if anyone could offer me a little advice?

I got a BEng from Leeds Met 10 years ago (part-time) and can't seem to get very far with getting it recognized, over in NZ.
It's not recognized by the Washington Accord, the Uni don't have copies of transcripts for any class over 6 years old, I never bothered joining an institute and I don't know what to do next??

I've been in Engineering for 20 odd years and want to get to NZ asap?

Any suggestions, anyone?

Thanks
