Getting excited now!!
Hi Everyone,
Just to give you the latest. I've accepted a job offer in Auckland!! Yey! Looking very possible for a July move - based on visas all going smoothly of course! But the company is using a consultancy firm to handle that side of it, so that should help. Flights are reserved for the 4th July - just in case! Now the hard work begins, finding somewhere to live over there, and doing my place up here so it is rentable! Yee-haa! Phil. |

Re: Getting excited now!!
My Mate Marmite is marmite alright (did that rhyme ?) Anyway, I've spent money on imported Marmite from an expat shop just to confirm to myself that the, 'My Mate' I can buy here is the same. The cashier in the shop said it wasn't so I bought some just from insecurity. She's a great saleswoman ! When I confirm that My Mate is definately Marmite I'll be confident to continue buying it from the local supermarket.
Mix UK Marmite with golden syrup and you'll be pretty close to the taste of NZ Marmite. Yuck. |
