Get your bets on!!
How many crashes will take place from Sunday 25th March
The council here have issued the places to take care round here (chch). Is there been many warnings in other cities of likely hit spots for collisions?

Re: Get your bets on!!
I was just spluttering my coffee over this article:
'The very best place for any of us come 5am on Sunday will be between the sheets, not on the streets. Better bed than dead is the advice, unless, of course, we're happy to let chaos reign and the scuppers run with gore.'
http://www.nzherald.co.nz/opinion/ne...ectid=10793932
Listening to all the confused and confusing conversations about it on the radio this week, I think we're doomed. If you don't have a red car or a blue car, you'll be toast.

I thought they said it was 35 years though? If so, there will be a lot of road users who have never known any different. If everyone takes care (and remembers it has changed!) there shouldn't be too many problems.

well I got Beeped at today driving up the road to turn left, someone coming down the road to turn right. I turned and they Beeped, they then got the finger.
Going to be interesting at school tomorrow as recognise the women from taking the kids in, wonder if she will say anything.

Well one near incident around the turn off for Marshland Road and Lake Terrace Road. One individual didn't realise he had priority, a few pointers and flashes and he still waited for me to go. Hope he was ok when he attempted the run on the 2nd go.
Think many were giving hand gestures (nice ones) indicating who had priority for those that were confused

We have a UK relative living with us at the moment.
She came home (to us) on Sunday morning and said that she didn't think the drivers were really getting the new rules that she was so used to as a Brit.
After careful questioning it turned out that she had thought the new rules actually started on Saturday.
I am quite surprised she still has an unmarked car......

I flipping did it!!!
I was talking to my daughter in the car as I approached the supermarket carpark, turning right, and I just went for the turn It was only when I was halfway across the other lane that I realized it was Sunday... oops!
I didn't get beeped at, flashed at or birded so they mustn't have realised either
