George Monbiot. The Guardian
That's some skewed view of the labour party as it stands! Typical Monbiot
It's a rudderless basket case in the throes of self destruction. Sad for democracy really.

Once the NHS stops treating all and sundry that are not entitled to treatment it will be fine. And as long as we are all getting richer I don't mind if the rich get richer. It's when we all get poorer under Labour and still the rich get richer that I object!

It's so frustrating being unable to vote in the election when the result will decide the country I'll be returning to.

Got confirmation of my postal vote, and I'll probably use it, despite it being worthless in the national picture - the Electorate despite a few boundary changes has been in the hands of the same party with very comfortable majority since the 1930's.
The NZ system despite resulting in number of non constituent MPs does at least mean everyone's vote does count in the national picture, and landslides aren't achieved with barely 40% of the vote, a la Thatcher and Blair.

UKIPs Diane Abbott continuing to be the Tory parties biggest asset...
I suppose she'll go abroad and recruit 10,000 scandinavian police officers to fulfill the £300,000 cost.

The Tories are all about privatising the NHS, cutting public services to the bone and beyond, and shafting everyone but the very wealthy.

Have to agree there. It was a con-job to sell an ideology.
It was very successful for 30-odd years as people waited patiently for their share of the pie.
Can't be many that still believe it tho, but too late to do much about it as the 1% are firmly in charge.
The push for a TPP is an example of how the Right are still pursuing their agenda.

Diane Abbot is and has always been Labour. Although she sent her child to an independent school and waffles on about what was best at the time etc etc. A politician through and through. Labour won't win with Jeremy Corbin at the helm. I get the feeling Theresa May secretly wants to lose as Brexit is a pain in the backside but she may well win. No party wants to take Brexit on - it means they'll have to do some work for once. Boo hoo, we just like sitting in meetings and the sound of our own voices. Tired and jaded? Moi?
