well I have a PC and a laptop where they are reversed........it's annoying......

@ is at the top line left of my keyboard.
" is at the third line down to the right of my keyboard.

yeah but a UK keyboard has them the other way round........with the <@> next to the <enter> key and the <"> as <shift><2>.

anyway I'll carry on talking to myself (my fault not yours, BTW) and say "obtuse" - yeah really

so here's a "real" question.......
