hiya

We swapped over what british money we had before we arrived here so we weren't running around looking for banks before we could buy anything.

proffesionals and harcourts are next door to each other with quinovec acouple of minutes away.

where have you got a job?are there any areas you fancy?

you would probably want fitzroy or strandon so close to work and next to beach ,coastal walkway close to town etc ,i love fitzroy there are some lovely houses there. if just the 2 of you, you will easliy get a rental in CBD,there was a lovely huge converted apartment when we were looking but was no good with a 2 year old and a pram lol

lots to choose from

Hi Caz,
Pardon my ignorance but we have seen the initials on quite a few properties we have been looking at. But what does CBD signify ?
cheers Graham

Thanks everybody,
Its been a heart wrenching last 2 days saying our goodbyes. But we have to stay focused and remember that there is nothing left in this country now but family and friends. We will probably need help looking at properties as we only have mon and tues before i start work.
So later today we have blast off and hopefully we havent missed all the summer. Would be a bummer to have 2 winters back to back. Anyway will be in the Braemar Sunday night if anyone would like to come for a drink.
Thanks for all the help and see you all real soon
