The last I knew it was free to those outside of NZ anyway, it's just is sad sacks in NZ that are required to stump up the $50 fee.

I'd do it but is there then an annual 'service' fee bit like for the credit cards here ?

I tried to look but wasn't sure.

???? I got mine ages ago when there was a free sign up offer thing. Its in my purse but i've not flown since I had it so haven't used it. Its come through with a mastercard thingy on it but shouldn't have thought it has a service fee because its an optional thing to load credit on to it isn't it??
