Default Football (Soccer) friendly kick about in Tauranga

Hi Guys,

Bit of a long shot, but recently moved into the area and looking for a social game to play midweek with a beer afterwards. Does anyone know of any like minded people already playing or wanting to start?

Cheers
Lee

Hi,
A couple lads I know manage a five aside league thing mid week on a Tuesday evening down at Omokoroa FC, Western Ave, Omokoroa and finish up around 9pm. No pubs round there for a beer afterwards but I'm sure they take a few of their own and have them in the club house. Sounds like a mixture of Kiwi's and British Expats. Unfortunately can't commit to it myself as I work shifts. PM me if interested and I'll forward on your contact details.
I'm sure there's kickabout stuff like this all over Tauranga no matter where you are living.
If Omokoroa doesn't work just go down to your nearest playing fields and you'll find something or enter Football Clubs in a Google Map search.
Cheers

That is one thing i would like todo around the Auckland area.
I say this to my wife the one and only thing I miss from back home is football.
Even just watching it is a nightmare it's on at silly times. All the champions league games are on at 7 or 8am when im at work.
What sport channel do you watch have you any idea how Spark TV is going to work next season?
