Re: Food you miss
Proper Brie and Camembert. What is with that disgusting plastic stuff here that masquerades as cheese? And deli olives that I don't have to save up for!! Just paid $7 for a small tub of mixed olives in New World, in Aldi a few weeks ago a massive pot cost me one pound fifty!! (sorry no pound sign on NZ keyboard).

Walkers Crisps
Decent sized chocolate bars, not little packs of crunchies etc
Richmond chunky irish sausages. 4 Richmond sausages, with HP sauce on brown bread. The perfect sausage sarnie
Lastly as per Tommy, I miss a lot of restaurants in the UK. I can't fault some restaurants here but Indian ones in particular are very hit and miss. The lack of Mexican restaurants here surprises me, I thought that would be a popular dish. I've not had any complaints about Thai restaurants mind.

Soreen! I get it posted out to me, along with Tetleys tea bags!
Marmite doesn't taste at all the same either, which is disappointing!
I brought a vinegar bottle with me too because you can't get them here, as kiwis don't use malt vinegar for chips! Does anyone know what they DO use it for!?

Oh no, why did you have to mention that? I had forgotten all about Richmond Irish Recipe Skinless Chipolatas - loved those.
Shift and No3 still give me a £ sign cos I changed my keyboard setting to UK style. It does mean I sometimes have to play around for a while to find where the hashtag and other symbols are hiding

In the old days it was pickling and in some recipes of salad dressing although these days people are more likely to use the fancy vinegars.
