Flying to NZ today
We are flying out to Nelson today to look at motels, we are so excited. Will keep you posted

Well we have been and gone, we are back home in blighty with the wind and rain 
Returning to Nelson was like coming home, we felt so comfortable there and it didn't feel like over 4yrs ago that we were there last
We viewed 3 motels and fell in love with one in Tahunanui. After a tense week of negotiations we have today agreed on a price for the lease
Still have another condition on the the offer to be agreed with the freehold owner though and he has until 1st july to agree
Then the visa application
One challenge down, two to go

It's absolutely tipping it down again & it's freezing. Thank goodness for those couple of weeks of good weather.

Finally the purchase of the motel lease has all been agreed 
We have put our LTBV into Wellington yesterday via our immigration lawyer
I am surprised at how relaxed but excited i am feeling about it, neither myself or OH have had any second thoughts since deciding to move, i suppose they might come nearer the time

Good luck with the motel. I've heard that a large % of motels in NZ are "potentially" for sale at the moment, but that Holiday parks are doing well.
