FLYBUYS are similar to Tesco clubcard. You shop at certain supermarkets & stores or petrol stations and you gain flybuy points. They have a brochure of items you can buy with the flybuy points you accumulate.

top tip to get lots of points from flybuys:

Hang around Noel Leemings (Electrics & Electronic Store) and ask random customers if they mind using your card so you can get points. Not kidding. Personally i think that *could* be one step up from begging...though still a very good idea.

A friend of mine used to do it when we were students. He used to have so much stuff. I was jealous of that wafflemaker and electric toothbrush hehe

Every time we get a statement I look at the brochure to see what we can get and then go 'oh stuff it', I'll wait til we have more points.......six months go by...... 'Oh stuff it I think I'll wait a bit longer'........three years later.... tum te tum...... still can't decide whether I should go for a new kettle or a toaster.

We are just about to spend ours for the first time in 3 years. Mrs V did express interest in said pasta maker but I'm looking at a couple of camping lamps.

I believe for 410 points you can fly from Auckland to Wellington - Yes a whole $119 dollar value (Woooooooo!) Has anyone had enough points to leave the country? Maybe Maz's mortgage would have gotten her to Sydney
