Financial Advisor for QROPS transfer

Hi there,

Can anyone recommend an independent financial advisor in NZ to advise on transferring my UK pension to NZ please?

I have looked at the link on the front page of this site and been put in touch with an advisor in Zurich. I would still like to get a second opinion and if possible talk face to face with an advisor.

I am aware of the requirements and procedures but want to discuss the different QROPS registered pension providers available in NZ.

My advice is transfer it to a well known company that releases all of your funds when you are 55 (rather than 60) as then you can spend or invest it as you wish. The full list of approved companies are on the net.
However as many people will tell you, the exchange rate is not what it used to be so think long and hard before signing on the dotted line.
