Indeed tonight I can confirm that we must be living in a whole neighbourhood of such wussies and wimps - the smell of burning wood is thick on the air.

I had a sneaky wee blast of the car heater on my way home from work tonight.

Still warmish in Auckland. Mostly just shirts on our walk down Ponsonby Rd last night and actually had the aircon on in the car today, just to be different. Lol. Overcast, cooler out in the breeze, but muggy out of it. A bit sweaty.

well today we got and installed panel heaters for the bedrooms, so when it gets a tad cooler they shall duly be turned on. not quite there yet as still getting the sun in the bedrooms during the day and closing the curtains before it falls below the roof line

No logburner action yet. We have 2 more rooms getting double glazed this week should help a lot this winter.

Currently 19°C at 6.30pm. Feels much warmer, so no heating here.

No log burner lit here either .

It's going good and we are well past last year's date.

I blame global warming for all the agreeable weather . Of course now we've talked about it the weather machine will kick back into life.

If this is global warming then I am currently lovin' it.

We're definitely into uncharted territory and have never been this far into May without needing a duvet or some form of heating. Long may it continue - another four months would be nice.

If anyone can please help with releasing some extra greenhouse gas emissions, I would be most appreciative. :fingerscrossed:

Over here we have just turned the CH off - about a month later than usual.

Glorious weekend but it is raining today.

All of our heating is still off in Tauranga. Just been too darn humid overnight. Still finding myself hanging a leg out of the covers to cool down.
Last couple of days it's been 18 degrees at 9.30am and 3 weeks till Winter :-)

We are still continuing to be stunned and amazed by the temperature - my car was showing 20c at 8am this morning. :scaredhair: Just had a look at the ten day forecast and looks like things will be cooling down later next week.

It will be interesting to compare the difference it has made to the power bill at the end of this month.

Sorry I think I left my fridge door ajar.

Seems your fridge must have the capacity to cool down the whole country LOL. I came very near to flicking the switch on the heat pump tonight but decided on another dose of those concrete pills and an extra layer instead.
