It was still summer at the weekend and now this.
Sorry folks, I may be letting the side down but can't be fagged with the old harden up pills and warmer PJs; I've gone straight for the heat pump instead.

Our electricity went out just after 10pm last night. No idea when it came back on, just grateful it did.

The temperature where I live is forecast to go down to a chilly 11 degrees overnight.

Yup. Wife couldn't take it any longer and changed the heat pump from 18 degrees cooling to 23 degrees warming this morning. Was only 8 degrees when I walked down with the lad for the school bus....Bloody Baltic!

It's certainly turned notably cooler. So far this evening I am coping with few harden the f*** up candles alight but think it won't be much long before we see the heat pump come into action.

No way. Not had any heating on for weeks and not even had the heated blanket on 
Had to sleep with a leg and arm outside the duvet again last night as it's just too damn warm to be fully immersed.
