hi,
we have not actually been accepted yet, but if we do, our children dont want to come with us, one is happy in his job, another is studying, and will live with his biological dad in the meantime.
how difficult is it to get them to join us later after we have settled?
can they come under own steam and name us as relatives?

Depends whether NZIS class them as dependant when that time comes, if not then they will need to apply in their own right.
