I am a Spark customer, saw that Vodafone is offering $300 credit to new account sign ups.

Rang up Spark CS....told them I would like to change provider and would they be prepared to offer me anything to stay? Got bounced around a couple of times, but in the end, got a £300 credit and a $5/month discount on our mobile plans.

Cool bananas!

But who would want to actually go with Vodafone if they call your bluff. Well done to you on making it work

Good work.

Oddly I had a bit of a chat about my mobile yesterday.
Maybe I'll try again.

Is there a tie-in? Banks will often waive fees, offer incentives etc. if they think you're off.

Another thing with Spark which you may already know about, is with ALL their broadband plans & mobile plans they give you Free Lightbox which is a fab tv show streaming website. Absolutely tons of good British tv series on there as well as new US stuff. We've just binged through Vikings and the Hand Maids Tale. We never watch regular TV at home, it's all so crap!
