Ex soldiers
Any ex British soldiers out there?
I am one myself and have been talking to other ex squaddies from our mob and i am seriously thinking of starting up a South of the World branch of our regimental association, wherever i end up living in NZ.
Any ex Kings Own or Border Regiment or even Kings Own Royal Border Regiment guys down there?

Re immigration, i am applying under a WTR visa. Been over for interviews and just waiting for the job offer.
Re the KORBR, i got out in 1983. Been 25 years in the Police since getting out. Retired from that in June this year.
Still go on reunions etc as often as i can so if you can remember anyone, i will pass on regards.

TeeBrown,
When are you planning on being over there? I have just submitted my ITA and I am in waiting mode. I get out next Sep but will be looking to move in June. Going as a civvy so it's a whole new experience for me but I must admit it is very exciting as well.

Waiting for a decision on the ITA is the hardest bit, hang in there.
