ENGLISH TEST

:) Hiya all, just thorght id pass on some information to anyone who may need to take the english test. I called my test centre in Plymouth UK the to book my test it costs £105.00 payable by cheque or postal order before you take the test. There are two tests an academic and a general training test, I was advised by the test centre I needed to take the general training test but I thorght that was a bit odd as according to the New Zealand nursing council website it said nurses needed to take the academic test before I could summit my application for registration:confused: ? So I e-mailed the NZNC and guess what I was right and the test centre emplyee was wrong ! :curse: So incase anyone else needs to do this test double check which one you need with NZ first,
Hope this helps someone
:thumbsup::)

Jaks:)

I'm taking mine on the 18th April at Plymouth. When are you taking yours?

Is this to get your NZ Nursing Council Nursing registration? They have only just introduced this

Hi Jaks

No although I did look at what it entails and doesn't look that straight forward :eek:
I managed to download info on the internet and I will do some study for it about 2 weeks before the test.
Let me know if you are booked in for the 18th...perhaps we can meet up and chat. The speaking, listening and writing is in the morning and my speaking...doh!.....is at 3.30pm. We are allowed to leave the college in between, so I might be going fo a bite to eat in Plymouth somewhere

Maria
