There's a saying I can't recall about immitation being the sincerest form of flattery.

Personally, I think it sucks. Makes you realise why people have the "I'll cheer whoever's playing England" attitude.
I hope they get booed onto the pitch.

In your article it clearly states the NZRU didn't have any problem with the black strip...so I hardly think that is being arrogant or precious!

I don't see the big deal, our alternative strip is white (unless it has changed?)

I find it hilarious how upset it's made the Kiwi's, its all over the news etc. They pride themselves on how intimidating the Haka is and England have just got them all crying by changing the colour of a shirt.

I always remind the locals that Rugby Union is very much a small sport in England and not many people care and hardly anyone in the world cares too. Always winds em up! Not as much as a colour of a shirt though, bless em.

Must say when I read about it I was disappointed, why can't England just be proud to wear the white shirt? And it's not just one game either.

The reason is supposed to be that there is not enough difference between the strips (vs Argentina). Having had a look, they played in their white strip and the Pumas in their blue/white strip more than once!
