England v All Blacks
Hey everyone,
So before even England have landed they are already on the medias watch list of what antics their going to get up to, I would really love to beat them next Saturday at Eden park ( probably not going to happen ) just to shove all their put downs their throats.
They want failure for the tour, It would be a great kick up the butt if the so called England c team wins the first test!!
Still excited to being going and flying the flag!!

The crowd will be up for it. No bully likes to have the table turned, so they will be screaming their (cheating) heroes on.
I have a good story on England v NZ tests at Eden Park. I had a friend who bought season tickets for Eden Park, and took the family to everything - they always had the same seats. They had to pay extra for stuff like Test matches, but obviously got the tickets (same seats as usual) and we're well excited about it. England somehow got a try early, but then got swamped by NZ. When NZ got their first try back a (rather drunk) fishwife sat in the seats directly in front, stood up, turned around and yelled at him and his young kids:
" Take that you f**king pommie b**tards"
Funny thing was -it was the same woman who always sat in front of them every week! Lol.

We've actually had that type of jeering & jostling. Not at all pleasant .
Mind you I've seen 'em scream '**** off you tossing losers ' at each other Crusaders v Blues . It ain't nice.
We've also sat through a Maori v England game where there was loud chanting all through the UK anthem.
Sportsmanship? I think not.
Sore losers and sore winners.

Hi Sparkey
Four of us a driving up from the Kapati Coast looking forward to the Game even though it’s our "B" team.
We are also going to watch the IRB Junior World Rugby Championship game England V Australia at the QBE Stadium at 17.30 on the Friday Night. The England youngsters have already won one pool game against Italy 63-3, so it should be a good game.

Team announcement and I'm not that concerned to be honest.
Players are not given international jerseys to make up numbers remember, hopefully they dig deep and don't get over whelmed by these sore winners.
20 years unbeaten at Eden park, records are their to be broken!! England all day!

It's all an inferiority complex. It's a small country that at a high level punches about it's weight in sport in general - but nearly all of those sports are hardly played world wide. The most widely played game - given that a billion Indians are nuts for it - in Cricket NZ are ok at, at best, a decent turn up in form of late.
But Rugby is the No 1 sport in one nation - New Zealand - and at a push maybe Wales. This is conveniently ignored by many an AB's fan when analysing "world" Rugby.
You can't take away their record however - it is rather impressive.
I'll be going and will be getting the early jibes in by singing "God save YOUR Queen ... " at anthem time.
In any case any offensive language spilled at Eden Park will be nothing compared to the bile I've experience being a Spurs fan in the away end at The Emirates, Upton Park or Stamford Bridge.

Re: England v All Blacks
The Haka is done as a challenge so a counter challenge may well be mounted in some form or another.
To drown another countries actual national anthem is just dreadful . Again IMVHO.

Re: England v All Blacks
The challenge is to the opposing team, who stand and respect and accept their opponents challenge by respecting it (unless your name is Richard Cockerill or David Campese), not to the 80,000+ strong crowd who sing.
If a counter challenge is offered, it should be done after the Haka.
When the AB's, Samoa, Fiji and Tonga play each other both teams don't do their respective challenges at the same time.
As per the chanting over the anthem, it's disrespectful at best. Notwithstanding that fact that the AB's and the island nations actually get someone sort of special dispensation to do the Haka - but that's a different conversation entirely!!
Perhaps we should bring in a Spitfire and land a few bombs to put the frighteners in them?

But this is still the very rare exception.

Re: England v All Blacks
The Hake isnt as important as the kiwis like to think, the only ones that are rememberd are the ones
like in Bevs clip where someone reacts to it, every other time its just the AB's thinking they're special
