Employment question
Hello, im going to NZ in september on a working holiday visa.
It states that i can't undertake permanent employment whilst on this visa.
Does this mean that i can't be employed full time at a company?
Also, how long can i work for an employer under this visa? I know that in Oz it's 6 months but not sure about NZ.
Thank you

Re: Employment question
You can be employed full time if you mean “can I work 40 hours a week” yes.
‘Permanent’ is almost considered an HR term to be honest. If you get a job the company would most likely hire you on a ‘temporary’ or ‘fixed term’ contract anyway so you in effect, don’t have anything to worry about in that respect. Just check that your contract mentions an end date or a fixed term and you should be sweet as bro
Afaik the requirement to move jobs after 6 months was removed. NZ Immigration’s site seems to confirm that which is good. HOWEVER, you can only work for up to 12 months total - so if you are on the 23 month visa you should probably plan your stay a bit
