Default Employment lawyer

I know this is probably a long shot but does anyone know a good employment lawyer.
We have a 'thing' at work that may or may not require some legal input and we'd like to speak to someone, preferably on recommendation, about our issues before we take it any further.

I know a great employment lawyer in Christchurch, but see that you are in Auckland. Let me know if you would like her details.

Are you not in a union? ... If you were you would have access to an employment lawyer.

Yep we are in a union but lets just say they haven't been exactly helpful or supportive with our situation so far.

Unions and/or their representatives are not normally legally trained or experienced. There are people who advertise as 'employment advocates' but again they are not normally legally trained.

Best to get a specialist in employment law such as Aliza.

No they're not ... but every union I've been in has had lawyers/solicitors readily available when needed.
