Default elderslea, upper hutt any info??

hi,

would any one know what elderslea is like, is it a good area, family area?
are the primary schools good? seems to look like a nice biggish residential area on google earth and i would appreciate any experiences of it or the surrounding area,

Hi there. We dont live there but having driven through a few times it seems a reasonable area. Could not tell you about the schools though. As a town though Upper Hutt is good. You generally have all the day to day shops you need. Anything else and its a quarter of an hour to Lower Hutt which has a good shopping centre. Sorry not much help on Elderslea itself though.
