Is Egg throwing a national sport?
Last night just as we were settling down to sleep someone crept up our drive and threw eggs at our front and back doors, We could've had scrambled eggs for breakfast 
. Strangely our dog didn't bark, but we heard the thud thud. No other damage done. What a strange thing to do - yes we had that in UK over Halloween but never randomly.
Anyone else had eggs thrown at their doors since they've been in NZ?

Hi Helen,
yes we had a drive by egg throwing that ended up on the drive. I reckon with food prices going up , it will be short lived. Maybe its because you`re a British eggspat. I`ll get me coat.

I've had egg hit our car windscreen when driving at night. Gave us a bit of a shock. Some idiot youngsters no doubt.

It's something that the kids on our street used to do. They'd take the stale ones that were no good for eating and throw them at houses or cars. Not sure if its a sport or not but it did happen quite a lot.

Interesting side of Kiwi life no one warned us about
Took us ages to clean the eggs up so hope it doesn't happen too often.

Seems it has spread to Ecosse,my friend's car was egged overnight. Maybe someone has been on this forum

that's horrible, thank goodness we live so far away from the road, someone would need an eggstra long, eggstra strong arm to reach us.
