Hi there,

I'm wondering if there are any teachers on here who are in New Zealand?
We are moving with our 5 and 8 year old P1 and P4 and we are wondering if the years are comparable? What level they should be at?
Is there anywhere we can find what they should be doing and where they should be up to?

education is so different here and varies from school to school how formal it is. five year old will go into year 1 and 8 year old will be year 4 possibly in a class of 3/4 or 4/5.
