East Coast Quake

Hope everyone up there in the North Island is okay. That didn't sound much fun.

Best wishes and a stable day to you from the South Island.

I slept through it but then I'm a good way away. I know some of my friends nearby felt it. Thankfully it's not in a heavily populated area and the tsunami warning has been lifted now.

How are you guys in the BoP and Gisborne way?

Oddly. It woke me . I thought it was the cat having a mega big stretch but when I put my hand out he wasn't there. Sounded like a rumbling train.

Didn't feel a thing. I was sound asleep. It woke the wife but she thought it was me turning over and took her a while to figure out it was a quake.
