the 5.1 woke me up!! Along with the rest of Christchurch I should imagine. And just now we had a really shallow one that shook the office more than I can recall for a long while

I expect they will go on for a long time yet, under normal circumstances a 5.1 would be a quake and not an aftershock. I am still dizzy from the last one which was only a piddly 3.9 but I went dizzy first and disorientated before it shook the house here in Rangiora. I am soooo over them. My sister just flew back to the UK at mid-day today and I think the 5.1 came to say goodbye to her. She was freaked out by it I think but is on her way to Singapore and then London. Wish I had gone with her back to the UK. There is not much we can do about them more's the pity. Our water went off this morning and had to go to our Daughters for showers, just what you need before a long flight! Apparently the early one knocked the pump out locally here but by the time we got home from daughter's house it was back on. Off to get some huge containers now for storing water, never did have my box at the ready!! Hang in there Jan like the rest of us, I feel another get together coming on to give each other moral support, feel free to come over to us any time for a drink and a chat. PM if you want to. We can all have a good therapy session!
