Yup. Thats why I like my wooden house with its tin roof so much. Goes with the flow, moves with the groove.:D

Didn't feel it down here & if I did , probably thought it was the husband's manky van starting up.

Yes, yes, yes... finally I felt the earth move and I was in bed....... alone

Alarm clock had just gone off and I had turned over for a 5 minute snooze when it felt like someone had jumped on the bed... I was wide awake then!!

Nope - but the less often I am aware of quakes the better..;) once a year is too much for me.

Yes, I felt it!
Half asleep and woke up wondering why a large truck was driving past the house, woke up a little more and remembered we lived in a quiet cul-de-sac:o Changed my thoughts to 'bloody hell, will Mr Sue stop moving around so much and go back to sleep?' before finally waking up properly to find the whole house rattling and shaking. Bit of an anticlimax really;)

Nope, but my next door neighbour did - how did I miss my first earthquake? I was definitely up and the kids were watching tv, they didn't feel anything either - they were probably numbed by the rubbish tv though!
