Default dual nationality allowed?

got a friend who was born in NZ and living here in the UK.....came on 4yr ancestry visa, been hrere sc years now. She's thinking of applying for citizenship.....does NZ allow dual nationality?

thanks for that. Anyone have a link..... I have had a brief look on the NZ Embassy website but can't find the info.

Wikipedia has a tiny bit about it. I have just got New Zealand citizenship myself, and like the UK, NZ allows you to have multiple citizenship.

is she applying for Nz or Uk citizenship?
sounds like UK citizenship so she could look here as a start
