Drinks at The Slipp Inn, Highbury/Birkenhead on Friday 21st....

I'll be there from just before 6
Buses 973/974/955 are every 10 mins between 5 and 6pm and go from Victoria St, down lower albert st to Highbury Shops, which is where The Slipp is.. It takes about 20 mins
Goin back to the city every 20 mins or so right to 11.15pm ..........and then theres night buses at 12.47,1.47 and 2.47 if you stay that late !!!
Who fancies it?

Ill be there, may have to drive though as I live in Campbells Bay and have no idea what the transport is like!

I have no idea about buses as am allergic to the shore

I'll be there as near to 6 as possible, finish work at 5 then need to drop car home and get a taxi, looking forward to it!

There was myself, Gills (daniel) and realbeard (paul) plus a kiwi friend of mine.
$4 drinks went down well, we had a few games of pool and watched the start of the ashes test ...............
Paul and my mate got the bus back into town and gills drove home (sober).
I'm looking to organise (hopefully a bigger) meet-up in sept at The Bluestone Room (a monteiths pub) on Durham Lane in the city centre on a Friday evening. They do $4 pints from 5 till 7 .............and then go up to $8 a pint after that (so it pays to get there earlier)
I;ll get back to you with a date . I reckon Ill go for either the 4th Sept or 18th.
