Yup. It's compulsory to share pics of pets :)

Well now that you share the piccie are you sure you want to go south, some lovely pheasant shoots here in Hawkes Bay (very up and coming sport here :D) and no shortage of duck and rabbit shooting. Even got a few gundog clubs around the area we believe so the duo could easily keep their skills fresh...

Seeing as how Stephen has been extremely rude and not introduced you, I shall:p

Penn is the flat-coat retriever and Silk is the springer spaniel - she's getting on now, but is still a game ol' gal:D

Today is flight day for them so I hope they got off ok Steve:thumbup:

VO was a nuisance, claimed Silk's air crate was too narrow and Penn's not long enough. Still they were passed for the flight. supposedly they are going via LAX

What's VO ? Animal shippers normally stick to the rules.

Anyway. Up, up and away for the international dogs. Hope it all goes smoothly for them and their jet lag isn't too bad at this end. :)

VO is UK government Veterinary Officer, inspects dogs and signs off on Export Health Certificate so they can be shipped.

Arrived 09:15 Friday 26th August. Alas, due to ANZ cock-up I was unarmed. Dropped kit off at motel in Papanui, picked hire car up and made my way out to Oxford to see the dogs. It's a cracking location, just past the Waimakariri Gorge bridge with excellent views of Oxford and Black hills. Silk and Penn looked to be in very good nick. Just a short visit on Friday, a longer visit for Sunday. Photos to follow!
