Re: DOGS AND MOVING
we brought our two dogs with us and I am SO glad we did. They helped us over the first hard year. Don't leave them behind.
Yes if will be hard finding some rental, but NOT impossible.

Re: DOGS AND MOVING
Hi
We also used Golden Arrow to send our dog to NZ a year ago. From start to finish it takes at least 6 months as they need to have their rabies vaccinations at least 6 months before they leave UK. Cost about £2500 plus vet costs (they need the vaccinations and blood tests etc).
Golden arrow were fantastic from start to finish. I was really concerned about the 35 hr travel our doggo had to go through but they were reassuring throughout. It was great to see him at quarantine (although that cost about $800!). Worth it if you love the little buggers!!
good luck with everything

Re: DOGS AND MOVING
Is a dog licence/ registration a requirement in NZ?

Re: DOGS AND MOVING
Yes. All dogs from 3 months must be registered and chipped. Each local council deals with dog ownership and will have their own bylaws. You register for a fee and the council will provide a tag the dog has to wear.
