Does anyone live on the South Island!?!?!
 
Keep seeing loads of meetups for the North, mostly Auckland. Surely someone has moved to the South?

Any meetups planned for South Island? Dunedin? Christchurch?

DandJMay - I don't know, I've never been there. I would think that if you appear to have neighbours and lots of other houses around then it's highly likely that someone else does live in the same town as you...:p Or perhaps Invercargill is a NZ version of the Truman Show:rofl::wub:

Hey, we didnt choose greymouth it was where the job was at were working at Grey Base. Everyone here is sooo lovely and its the most beautiful place. After all the stories we were quite nervous but couldnt be more wrong!

Ooo Nelson isnt far what it like up there?

the west coasters are the most super fun people, lots of irish ancestry there, you should have fun. take a trip up the coast to karamea and the heaphy track if you like walking. punakaiki is pretty and the whole coast is awesome.

It's fab here very, friendly people, the best neighbors ever, there's a strong artistic community & it's very very suuny:) we're close to golden bay (where all the potters retire!!) & an only an hours drive from Marlborough sounds awesome

Good luck in Greymouth it sounds fab too:thumbsup:

We're in Nelson too ! (Via Welly and Auckland!) Been in NZ 6 years now and have citizenship so I guess we are part kiwi now ! :D
