I watch Triangle TV most nights They've got Al Jazeera but not every night - this is the best news channel by far. And don't scoff! It's so un-biased. It just reports the news and it's up to you to make of it what you will.
I look at the local paper from home every week to see if my son's been mentioned in football but otherwise not much. I don't really care to be honest.

I enjoy reading the UK papers, i dont think there is anything wrong with it either and when I get to NZ in August I would still buy the occasional english paper if they were around. Although I am moving I still want to keep up to date with life in England.

No worries! Unfortunately in SW France they make Jambalaya with tripe. The smell alone of it cooking is enough to make you

It's channel 5 on terrestrial tv and up past Discovery on Sky. It's often got Dutch news on during the day or German and some really local programming as well - community TV. Al Jazeera doesn't seem to be always on but if it is, it's around 10 or 11 pm. I was really surprised by it and find it just so informative without any sensationalism.
