Hi folks, my wife and I are aiming to move out to NZ in September and although IT-related job adverts seem to be easily found, for me, we are having trouble finding job adverts for Dietitians for my wife.

Has anyone had any experience in applying for or recruiting to Dietetic positions or offer any advice that might help?

Try health boards directly, Heart Foundation etc

yep or have a look on each individual District Health Board website and they'll be advertising their current vacancies - for example there's one in Hawke's Bay at the moment - http://www.healthcarehb.co.nz/vacanc...category=Other

or is there a dietetics association which might list all the current vacancies? I don't think health vacancies necessarily go on seek etc anyway so I had to just keep regularly checking the DHB websites (I'm a speech therapist).

You have to sit exams to practice as a dietitian in NZ, it's all on the NZ Dietetics Board website. You wont get a job until you have done these sadly.
