Brunei is brilliant, no he's not military though we've got friends who are -he's out here on contract. Lots of people are moving at the moment because of the school year beginning in September. There's a huge turnover of expats at the moment.
We've been planning our move to NZ for a while and took this contract after reading about the house prices and cost of living. It was only ever meant as a boost to the savings, we never expected to love the place so much.
I'm dreading the move home, it makes me feel sick just thinking about it. It's this horrible fear that once we go back in, we'll never escape again
I'm sure if we carry on not reading the papers and learn how to fuel the car on dust, we'll be fine
On a positive note, the shops in UK sell clothes bigger than a size 6, and we can drink wine in restaurants instead of Tizer

Don't worry HW you will escape, just keep believeing! We have returned to Uk after 20 years and so far been here 9 months, and it's only the thought of leaving in Feb that keeps us going.
And by the way, you might want to drink Tizer in the pubs as the cost of a glass of wine is terrible.
All the very best with the move.
