Day Trading in New Zealand
Hi, my first post, so please be gentle I would like very much to correspond, either on the forum, or by P.M. with anyone resident in New Zealand (or Australia), who is a full time day trader. If you fit the bill, and are prepared to answer a (no doubt) barrage of questions from me, then please let me know.
Thanks in anticipation.

Just to get started: NZ has no CGT but will treat capital gains as income for tax purposes if there is any probability the activity has been carried out regularly/ as a quick investment for profit. So day trading gains whilst you were resident would be treated as income but you could offset losses against these.
Broadband access is no problem in all NZ population centres. Some of the online brokers in the UK won't let non UK residents maintain a trading a/c.
