Dashcam Timelapse Wellington to Auckland
Not that exciting but I delivered my Skoda to its new owner in Auckland last weekend and made a timelapse from the dashcam video of the trip.

Blimey mate, that's dedication. Good dash cam footage though. I recognised the BP Connect at Otaki. Nice middle of journey bonus going along the shore of Lake Taupo. Was the Turangi bakery open ? Lovely food there.
Good call meeting the purchaser at Auckland airport. I'm assuming you flew home ? What a long day. You must have just got the money for your car, handed over the keys and walked straight into the domestic departure terminal. The proceeds of the sale weren't burning a hole in your pocket in Auckland, no ?
That journey is pretty much what we would be faced with to visit the Auckland based in-laws if we moved to Wellington. It's an all day drive now from Whanganui. Starting in Wellington would make it even longer to the point of to hard.
When we drive, Pirongia is where we see the first distance to Auckland sign.... (heart sink)
What car do you have now ?

Re: Dashcam Timelapse Wellington to Auckland
What's really daft is I booked the flight out far too late and ended up at the airport for 4 hours. Ah well It gave me time to write a couple of articles.
Flight was 45 mins late too due to high winds, which made the Wellington landing a rollercoaster ride.
I don't have a driveable car - yet. Working on this which I want to use as a daily:

Gene Hunt eat your heart out (I've never seen an episode of Life on Mars btw)
Good luck with the restoration project.
