Power is now back on.
They can drive into Auckland or other parts and use phone and WiFi.
The gas stove takes cartridges (of which there were several) and reportedly did sterling work.

Yeah. True enough. A better turnout perhaps could have done something. Same with bluddy Nick Smith for Nelson. Most didn't want him ,the old has-been, who thinks he can shake 'things' up . But half didn't even bother to cast a vote. Was such a shame that the previous mayor hung up their chains of office. Good mayor. Good communicator . Caring person. Understood it though. All the vitriol thrown her way over the years.

MrBEVS & those teams of Welly /Tasman are on their way home as of an hour ago. The Aussies arrived to Napier ( and maybe elsewhere) last night I think.

If the F&S sketch is supposed to be about myself , Bo-J, BigSticks etc then you are wide of the mark - for me anyway. Both me and him were council 'ouse kids mate. Rough estates . I'm more More Kathy Burke style. Never could stick F&S stuff. Just never did it for me in any way.

Oh ! Now you've really made me giggle and I needed the laugh. Don't quite see you as an Ada though.
