Custom numbers on telecom mobiles
 

I have it from a reliable source that the Telecom webs(h)ite has some feature for reserving custom mobile numbers, like the 0800-GETOFFYOURDEMERITPOINTS type for landlines and I am damned if I can find it using <search>. Can anyone confirm this or am I on a wild Kiwi chase?? TIA, LL

It is as I have the letter_head to prove it - but how you go about it.....
Will have to visit the Telecom Shop or, perish the thought, speak to them on the phone - last time it required four people and an hour to arrange a new line......but then I am an awkward customer! :lol:

Ok then - yes you can do it but over the phone - the bloke I dealt with today (dial 126 for business) was a star, got me the numer I wanted 027 426 666 (NOT!) and I managed to wangle a free handset (Nokia 2855 - OK no camera but it does have bluettoth) and $300 credit for the business flexi plan (when I send back a Vodafone handset with charger/sim). Not bad and he kndly did the voicemail and faxability so all we need now is the darned PO box! Sweet as.
